My name is Ande Mertz and I am an ISSA certified personal trainer who believes that every client needs (and deserves) a unique and sustainable exercise plan that fits their respective needs, goals, life circumstances, and preferences. I use my wide-ranging experience and training to inspire and support others in achieving optimal health by focusing on mindful exercise, purposeful nutrition and challenging movements that facilitate your body composition goals. My fitness journey began in High School and developed as I became a NCAA Division I Field Hockey athlete. During my years of training, I have learned the importance and benefits of strength and conditioning work in daily living. I continue to experience the benefits of fitness training including increased physical strength as well as psychological well-being. I will strive to help you, likewise, enjoy these benefits and enhance your quality of life through dynamic fitness.
My coaching process involves individualized concentration on specific areas you identify after open dialogue ensuring that each workout is productive and aligns with your goals.
